Application

Adding up to 15% of styrene-butadiene-styrene (SBS) to the conventional asphalt permits to obtain a polymer modified asphalt (PMB) that allows the mixture to be more cohesive, with greater rigidity, better resistance to deformation, higher resistance to spreading cracks, greater water resistance, much higher durability, therefore, less maintenance costs.

In regions with difficult climatic conditions and intensive busy traffic it is hard to maintain good quality of road surface.
Defective roads lead to accidents, human death and injury, vehicle damage and require constant repair expenses.
